Can anyone help me hook my DVR security system on my computer and configure it remotely?
I 8 cameras already in place and connected to the DVR is connected to them and the location of my computer. Now what do I connect the DVR? Where are routed through my DSL modem to my computer or directly to my computer tower. This system is a remote display system, so a bridge on the modem ... But now what? How I can connect and obtain an IP address to view cameras. The program Microjack EYES Pro to see the cameras on my desk is already installed and actually worked in a while, but then I added 4 cameras and had to go to the video recorder digital storage for more. Please help ... in idiot terms please, I'm computers until the networking and the website set up, and I know little about IP addresses?
Not all the support DVR for remote viewing. If yours is, the network must have an RJ-45 connector on the back that connect to your ADSL modem / switch like any other network device. It should also be received Remote Viewing "client" software with the DVR. This software is installed on the PC (or PC) in which you want to make a remote monitoring. When you configure this software, you put in the IP address of DVR. When you start a visualization software automatically connects the DVR and allows you to view cameras and other system functions. The manuals supplied with your DVR should have explained all this. If it is not listed, you can have a DVR that does not support remote viewing. Silva Consultants
